One Tree Cannot Make a Forest 02

Clark graduated High School at 15 years old and followed an elder sibling to San Francisco where he became an active participant in the late 1970's and early 1980's of the San Francisco underground.  He earned a BA in Film Direction from San Francisco State University under blacklisted director/writer Abraham Polonsky, and director Martin Ritt. Clark's film work has been shown at many venues including Cannes and the Sundance Film Festival. Clark is primarily a self-taught artist and has devoted the last 20 years to exploring and developing his own unique visual voice. Clark's currency work has been exhibited in museums across the country from LACMA to Washington, D.C. He is the primary and foundation artist for the DHR Investment Counsel: the largest private/corporate currency art collection in the United States.
